MEET WITH A LAWYER DAY
Board members, founders, and executive leaders of small to medium-sized nonprofits (annual revenue less than $1,000,000 and less than 5 paid employees) are invited to apply for appointments for our next Meet with a Lawyer day. Meet with a Lawyer Days are held monthly and offer up to 30 minutes with our nonprofit attorney who can provide information to nonprofits on corporate, compliance, and tax legal issues including:

State Corporate Requirements (articles of incorporation, bylaws, etc)

IRS Requirements (Form 990, 501(c)(3) letters, Unrelated Business Income, etc)

Fundraising Legal Issues (state registration, commercial co-ventures, etc)

General contracts and business issues
The purpose of the call is informational.
Specific legal advice will not be provided during the call.
If you need immediate legal advice please contact your local or state Bar Association's lawyer referral network. If a situation requires additional legal help, we will try to match the organization with an attorney who can help at no or low cost (if available).
Our team will follow up within 30 days of your submission to let you know if your organization or project qualifies. Only completed applications will be considered.
